Well Nick went today for his first official half day at Holston. No I did not cry....although Nick did tell me not to walk with him or hold his hand because he was a big boy...so that makes me want to cry! He got Mrs. Morarti and she was the grade above me in high school and volunteered to help her dad coach one of the t-ball teams at Central Heights this past summer. She knows Nick from there and pre-k. She calls him the all-star because they went undefeated this summer and won the championship by the slaughter rule. I hate to say it because of Rusty, but I believe Nick's sport is baseball. She also likes East Football because her dad played for them when they were not so good and of course Nick lets everyone know his daddy is a coach for East. Nick was very upset when he heard he couldn't go back the rest of the week and that he was staying until only 12. Jackson has Mrs. Millsap and she seems to be great! I am just excited my kids love school and actually want to go and get upset when they can't because I am sure a few years down the road this will all change!

I'm glad that Nick liked his first day of school and that all your boys are happy this year with their teachers! :) I'm sad it didn't work out for us to be at Holston together. Abigail is very happy at Johnson and we are too. We are just upset at the way things were handled in the county. Oh well! :) See you at Awana tomorrow!
